Ceremony: Notre Dame Church, Southbridge, MA
We exchanged vows in a Catholic mass at Notre Dame Church, Brian's home church in his hometown. It's a gorgeous building, and we are the third generation of his family to marry there. Reception: The Publick House Historic Inn, Sturbridge, MA
Immediately after mass, we had a dinner and dancing reception at the Publick House in Sturbridge. It's an old New England inn, the perfect site for a fall wedding. They also handled catering, cake and venue coordination in house, which was a HUGE plus in our time crunched universe. Paige Hall, where the reception was held, is beautiful with wrought iron chandeliers, exposed beams and arched windows. They also have a custom china pattern exclusive to the inn that was burgundy and white, which worked out well for a fall wedding with burgundy dresses!
