Here comes the Bride!

My dress is a Maggie Sottero Ava, which has since been discontinued. Top pictures are the model, and the bottom ones are of ME right when the dress came in. You can also see my veil there, an elbow length double layer veil with pearl and sequin scallop edging. I love them both!

And here are the rest of my accessories. I got the shoes on clearance at Famous Footwear for $20. They're comfy, low enough for my bad knee, and the bottoms are coated so they won't make a clicky noise on the tile aisle (a HUGE pet peeve of mine). Also there is my jewelry. My earrings are my "something borrowed" from my mom, and the cross necklace is my "something new," purchased for me by my parent's for my birthday the summer before the wedding. And of course, my Boston College garter! Have to have a little spirit on game day! It was custom made by www.thegartermaker.net, and it's PERFECT!

Lovely Ladies

The bridesmaid's dresses are Alfred Angelo Style 6333. I originally wanted to choose a color, length and designer and let each of them choose their own, but I was shot down by the girls who just wanted to be told what to order! So my sister, also my MOH, picked out the style. The waist detailing make all the ladies look super tiny! The pic on the left shows better detail, but the pic on the right is the actual dress (it looks more red than purple in person).

Along the same lines as the dresses, all the ladies asked me to select their jewelry so they wouldn't have to think about it! I ordered ribbon pearl tie necklaces from www.majesticweddings.com. They're beautiful, and I loved them so much I ordered one for myself with a black ribbon! The top are the website photos, and then, the real deal! (Pardon my awful attempt at taking my own pic wearing mine!)

And earrings! My sister, who is my matron of honor, and my best friend, who is my maid of honor, have the drop earrings, and the 4 bridesmaids (2 of my college roommates and my two cousins) have the studs.

And now for the men!

All the men sported the same classic black two button tuxedo. Also shown are the vests that the groomsmen wore in burnished gold but with a straight flat satin tie. Brian wore a white vest and straight tie, and our dads wore black vests and ties.
