Destination: Hawaii
We spent the first 5 days of our honeymoon on Hawaii, also known as the Big Island. It was a ridiculously long flight from Boston, but so worth it when we arrived. We stayed at Sheraton Keahou Bay Resort outside Kona.
We went on a circle island tour to see the black sand beaches, Volcano National Park, beautiful water falls, and some gorgeous orchid and coffee plantations.
We also took a submarine ride, and went sea kayaking to get up close and personal with some awesome fish!

Destination: Oahu
We departed Kona and spent 3 more days on Oahu. We stayed at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and Resort on Waikiki Beach. My favorite color is pink, so I was THRILLED when the whole place was pink!
We spent the day at the Polynesian Cultural Center on the north side of the island. This was our FAVORITE part of the trip. We got to see tons of dancing, attended luau, and Brian even learned how to hunt a "pig"!
We were lucky enough to be able to visit Pearl Harbor on Veterans' Day.
We also spent time hanging out on Waikiki Beach and sipping Mai Tais in the sun. Yum!
And just for fun, me with the only penguins we saw in Hawaii, and out to a super fancy dinner at Top of Waikiki!
